Treatment Blog entry

Through my research, I have found that using a treatment is important to film because a writer can try out ideas in treatments before devoting all of their creative resources to a new script. 

    In my video I will be using it to give people background knowledge on what the film will be about.

    

Titles: Scarier Movie (Parody of Scary Movie) 

Names: Arden Salandy, David Pereira, Joshua Molme, and Victor Silva 

Logline: Friends sharing scary stories at the campfire. 

Synopsis: 1 actor talks about a scary story about encountering an angry Japanese spirit, 2 actor talks about his friend who he thought was getting posed but really was having a seizure, 3 actor tells a story about encountering a cute girl but it's Kristopher our friend. 4 actor tells is going to tell his story but is interrupted by ghost face. 

Character: David- playing David, Josh- playing Josh, Arden- playing Arden, Victor- playing Victor, Fabiana- playing Japanese ghost, Kris- playing Kris, and Clayton- playing ghost face. 

Plot Summary (10/11/2023): In “Scarier Movie” 4 friends are out on a camping trip. It’s getting late, but they decide to sit by the campfire and tell horror stories. The first story is told by a boy named Victor, He talks about a time when he met a Japanese spirit in Okinawa, Japan. Victor proceeds to have a conversation with the spirit, and he notices the spirit is friendly. The next person to tell a horror story is Arden, He tells a story about a time when he thought his friend was getting possessed but in reality, he was just having a seizure. The third story is told by Josh, his story is about the time he tried to approach a cute girl who was actually a man that with long hair. The 4th storyteller is David, but as soon as he starts his horror story Ghost face comes out from the woods and attacks them.
