J Molme Aice media studies 2023

 1: are pragmatic and symbolic techniques that suggest meaning in media forms and outcomes. 1a. "Sound" would be one example. Sound enhances a movie's optical components, giving the director more freedom to suggest and achieve. 2. Rules or directives that support the establishment of form and notification of meaning in media goods. 2a. "Structuring of time" is an example. The director can construct a certain order for the film by using temporal structure to provide the audience a linear order in which the story's events occur or unfold.

      Blog Post Researching a production     1. The genre of our f ilm i s a psycho logic al thriller.     2. Our film idea is mainstream due to us taking inspiratio n fro m p revio us psychological thriller (titles) films such as Netflix's You and Nightcrawler.     3. I believe our film would be producer by Brian de Palma since he is known for producing films such as Scarface and Dressed to Kill. I also believe that our film coul d poss ibly be produced by Greg Berlanti since he is known for producing Net fli x' s Y ou which is our huge inspi ratio n towar ds our film.  

    Filming Day 3   Initial filming for film intro project 03/14/2024   Our film intro is going to be a story about a teen who is getting stalked by another teen who is jealous about what he has going on in his life.    On the first film day we just filmed the stalker sitting down and then the victim walks by, the film scene ends as the stalker is following the victim.   The filming today will be in the promenade and we will be filming the second scene.   We will be changing the camera from portrait style to landscape to capture more of the scenery. We still struggle with a place to meet up to film.  

Fil ming day 2   Initial filming for film 2/27/24   Ore film intro is going to be about a stalker plotting on his next victim   The 1st day of filming we filmed the 1st scene of the intro basically an intro to the idea of the film and what we plan to make it about   Today's filming went through the same ideas of stalking and looking or analyzing the victim, but we used different scenery as the initial idea.   The changes we made are a change of scenery and change of clothing and props to give off a new setting of the film. This will add a form of refreshment to the film.  

https://youtube.com/shorts/ctomJMqsC40?si=5yppR2pPsQbbqY88  Our film intro is going to be a story about a teen who is getting stalked by another teen who is jealous about what he has going on in his life.    In the film intro we will document the stalker following his victim around while plotting on how to approach him.   On the first film day we just filmed the stalker sitting down and then the victim walks by, the film scene ends as the stalker is following the victim.   Unfortunately we weren't able to film at the Promenade so we had to improvise and film the first scene at school, but e will transition to the Promenade once all the cast members get together to film again.   We might make a change to the overall goal of the stalker, what his true intentions are. A challenge we face with our film into idea is mainly just the setting, it has been a struggle to meet outside of school hours for us to film.
